You need:
- 2 m of strong but lightweight bronze chain (you don’t want to double the weight of your camera!)
- 2 sliplock buckles (I used the ones that came on my nikon strap)
- 50cm of strong nylon webbing
- E6000 glue
- Scissors

Vor ein paar Wochen habe ich über die wundervollen Kamera Ketten von Sarah Frances Kuhn gepostet. Heute früh habe ich dann dieses tolle DIY dazu gefunden. Es ist einfach und schaut toll aus.
Du benötigst:
- 2 Meter von einer starken, aber leichten Bronze-Kette (Du willst ja nicht das Gewicht deiner Kamera verdoppeln!)
- 2 SlipLock Schnallen (Ich habe die genommen, die auf meine Nikon Trageriemen kamen)
- 50cm starkes Nylongewebe
- E6000 Leim
- Schere

How to:
1. Cut the nylon webbing in half.
1. Schneide das Nylongewebe in 2 Hälften.
2. Slide one end of the nylon webbing through the camera strap holder on the camera.
2. Schiebe ein Ende des Nylongewebes durch den Kameragurthalter an der Kamera.
3. On the outer lower half of the nylon webbing, thread one of the sliplock buckles.
3. Die äußere untere Hälfte des Nylongewebes einfach durch die Schlaufe durchziehen.
4. Fold the chain in half and slide the two loose ends onto the nylon webbing.
4. Falte die Kette in zwei Hälften und schiebe die beiden losen Enden auf das Nylongewebe.
5. Double the nylon webbing over and pass back through the sliplock buckle.
5. Verdoppel die Nylongewebe über und zurück durch die SlipLock Schnalle.
6. Thread the other loose end through the sliplock buckle and reinforce both ends with E6000 glue.
6. Führe das andere lose Ende durch die Schnalle und verstärke beide Enden mit dem Leim E6000.
7. Press down to dry and feel free to reinforce the glue with some hand stitches through the webbing. Finally, repeat this process for the other end of the strap.
7. Drücke mit dem Daumen auf den Gurt, damit der Kleber gut trocknen kann und der Gurt auch fest hält. Schließlich wiederholen Sie diesen Vorgang für das andere Ende des Gurtes.
